For those hard to reach places

If you lack the opposable thumbs required to clean well behind your ears, it’s always nice to have a friend to help out.

Lookout

Where is that kid and that dog? And why is my husband spending all his time fooling with that damned camera?

Merritt College Sunset

There’s a great spot right in the parking lot of Merritt College to get a view of Oakland and San Francisco. You could spend some time exploring this site with everything from wide angle to super telephoto.

Two Cities

A friend once told me that I had it better living in Oakland, because when I go out I get to look at San Francisco but when he goes out he has to look at Oakland. He may be right, but in this picture I got a chance to look at both as well as the beautiful curves of Highway 24.

Inspired

I saw a picture by Swee Oh recently from a trip to the San Francisco zoo. You can find it here: plus.google.com/102390118349128083852/posts/9WtZQmnnxBx . It was inspiring. My family went to the Oakland zoo this weekend, and this is my much poorer imitation of the processing in that image. Swee should really teach a class in how she processes, because I’m really loving the B&W images I’m seeing from her recently. Great job Swee!
